Howdy!
Squirrel's Leesylvania boxes now have some company. I finally put my
first box together and just had to place it in Leesylvania; it's
such a great park. More to come. Enjoy!

This box lies along the Lee Woods historic area trail. The trail
features wonderful views of the Potomac and an interpretive pamphlet
covering the history of the area is available at the trail head. It's
a great feature for kids. As an added bonus for Fall letterboxers,
there are many pawpaw trees along the route- their succulent and
custard-like fruit are best eaten in mid to late Autumn after a
few frosts, but before any hard freezes... just don't eat the seeds
or
skins.
